A rental apartment renovated for Samuel with all the care and attention he would give his own home.
Between clean lines and warm curves
Luminous off-white, comforting textures such as bouclé and walnut: the aesthetic vocabulary is set. Bespoke joinery takes centre stage, precisely shaping the space from the dressing room to the kitchen. A palette of deep, saturated hues brings the interior to life, with periwinkle and ultramarine blues, burnt orange and vermilion red. Together, they echo the extraordinary chromatic intensity of Yves Klein’s work.
The iconic detail
Part bookcase, part openwork screen, a bespoke shelving unit separates the living area from the sleeping space, bathing the room in electric blue. Undoubtedly the apartment’s defining feature.
Batignolles, Paris on a human scale
A bohemian enclave in the 17th arrondissement, Batignolles unfolds around a leafy square, lively cafés and artists’ studios. Away from the bustle of the grand boulevards, it strikes a rare balance between neighbourhood warmth and urban energy. It is the kind of place people move to and rarely want to leave.
