Solène's home

When the past sets the tone
Some architectural constraints become the most compelling sources of inspiration. In this 33 m² apartment, the imposing ceiling beams set the direction for the interior design. Their distinctive shapes are echoed in the geometric lines of the bespoke joinery, while their rich brown tones inspire a palette of burgundy, green and ochre. Studio Maison Kyka brings together all the comforts of a hotel suite within a modestly proportioned space.
The iconic detail
Between the bedroom and living room, a glass partition creates a seamless connection. It allows natural light to flow freely, while a Roman blind preserves the privacy of the sleeping area.
Saint-Germain-des-Prés, the free spirit
On the Left Bank, Saint-Germain-des-Prés still bears the imprint of the writers, artists and intellectuals who made it one of the epicentres of Parisian cultural life. The terraces of Café de Flore and Les Deux Magots sit alongside art galleries, bookshops and antique dealers that perpetuate this tradition of creative vitality. Between the banks of the Seine and the Church of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, historic façades and lively narrow streets paint a portrait of a Paris that is intellectual, elegant and effortlessly bohemian.
