Renovating a top-floor studio with breathtaking views over the Paris rooftops.
Calm and comfort
Comfort, warmth and functionality: these were Alexandre’s guiding principles for his apartment. The aesthetic embraces curves, from the contours of the walls to the furniture, while drawing on mid-century modern influences through a palette of reds and beiges. The generous ceiling height is brought to the fore, giving the living space a greater sense of openness.
The iconic detail
To make the most of the uninterrupted view of the Eiffel Tower, a bespoke window seat nestles beneath the living-room window, blurring the boundary between indoors and out.
Left bank chic
The Gros-Caillou neighbourhood, with its broad, majestic avenues, embassies and the Champ-de-Mars, embodies a quieter side of Paris. Bordered by the Seine, it offers the refined art of living for which the 7th arrondissement is known. Central yet lively, the area appeals to those who prefer a more understated pace of life to the bustle of the Right Bank, in the shadow of elegant Haussmannian façades.
