The project
A functional rooftop studio with a bold urban feel.
A bold creation
The apartment strikes a perfect balance between complementary colours. Warm browns and an enveloping blue-green come alive against touches of black and white. From the moment you step inside, you are immersed in Sarah Lavoine blue by Ressource. The same shade reappears in the bedroom, paired with a graphic wallpaper and elevated by delicate details such as gold wall lights. The living area, meanwhile, was designed in lighter, softly weathered tones to create a greater sense of space. This feeling is enhanced by the parquet flooring, painted entirely white and laid to draw the eye towards the apartment’s windows.
The iconic detail
A chocolate-toned wallpaper from La Maison Bineau, featuring an original, graphic motif. It was love at first sight for the owner, who had long dreamed of incorporating an animal-inspired wallpaper into the interior.
Bastille, the buzz of Parisian life
Bastille is a neighbourhood that never sleeps. Once a symbol of the French Revolution, it has evolved over the centuries into one of the capital’s most vibrant and eclectic districts. Straddling the 11th and 12th arrondissements, it embodies the very essence of a lively, artistic Paris in constant evolution.
