A neo-modernist spirit and a vibrant colour palette: Samuel’s apartment fully expresses the artistic soul of the Batignolles neighbourhood. Welcome to his home.
For Samuel, an apartment intended for rental must be renovated with the same demands and taste as though it were his own. Partnering with Maison Kyka thus felt like the obvious choice—and marked the start of a beautiful real-estate story.
A luminous off-white backdrop, comforting textures such as boucle and walnut wood: the aesthetic framework is in place. Emphasis was placed on bespoke joinery that dresses the space with precision, from the walk-in to the kitchen. The space is adorned with a deep colour palette: periwinkle and ultramarine blues, burnt orange, vermilion red. Together, they echo the chromatic intensity of the great Yves Klein.
Half-bookcase, half-openwork screen, a custom shelving unit separates the living room from the sleeping area, irradiating the space in electric blue. Undoubtedly the apartment’s centerpiece.
A bohemian village within the 17ᵗʰ arrondissement, the Batignolles neighbourhood stretches between a leafy square, lively cafés and artists’ studios. Far from the hustle of the grand boulevards, offering a rare balance between conviviality and urban energy, it’s a place where one often settles… and never leaves.
