A comfortable cocoon for a growing family. Paul and his wife are writing their lives with their baby boy... and a new baby soon. These young parents pushed open the doors of a private villa in the Victor Hugo district to anchor their new chapter there. It is on the 6th and last floor, that Maison Kyka has found a duplex bathed in light, designed to accommodate their growing tribe. High ceilings, generous volumes and a view of the Eiffel Tower: here, everything invites you to breathe, develop and grow. Welcome to his home.
Paul and his partner knew exactly what they wanted: high-end services and a space where each member of the family would naturally find their place. A corner dedicated to children, where games and dreams would have all their freedom. An office bathed in light to combine remote work and inspiration. Finally, a closed kitchen, while remaining connected to the heart of the home: the living room and the living room. A subtle balance between functionality and aesthetics, to fulfill their family life.
From the entrance, the tone is set: built-in cupboards, fluid circulation and a layout thought out to the smallest detail. The center piece? A “cube” kitchen, designed as a real hub of the first level. Semi-open to the living room, it structures the space while maintaining a beautiful conviviality. Warm wood, touches of powder pink and a black granite worktop: a subtle balance between softness and character. To enhance everything, a coffee area and wine cellar have been integrated, promising moments of sharing.
The living rooms are decorated with antique fireplaces and custom-made windows, giving back all the 1930s charm to this space. In the living room, we discover carefully selected furniture: Sarah Lavoine furniture, Nobilis sofas, Madura curtains and Samsung Frame TV. Separated by a partition, an office nestles under the stairs and takes advantage of the light from the skylights, ideal for teleworking.
Upstairs, the old configuration has given way to a real universe dedicated to children. 35 sqm combining two bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and bath, a separate toilet and a laundry room. Each room has an opening, and the wall closet in the hallway frees up a maximum of space in the bedrooms. Chair rails and moldings have been added to restore all its elegance to this formerly fragmented floor.
On the master suite side, the volumes have been revised to integrate the kitchen cube, without compromising on comfort. Custom closets, Pierre Frey wallpapers and a carefully designed bathroom, all designed for the well-being of its occupants.
At the Saint-Ouen flea market, the couple fell in love with an Art Deco fireplace, a rare piece that they had treasured, waiting to find the perfect setting for it. Too big for their old apartment, she waited in storage, waiting for her time. Impossible to imagine their new home without her. Maison Kyka therefore integrated it from the first sketches of the project, finally offering it the place it deserved.
A duplex that combines the soul of the 1930s and a resolutely contemporary layout, designed to grow with the family.
Majestic Haussmann facades, tree-lined avenues and refined addresses: the Victor Hugo district embodies chic and cozy Paris. Between local shops, renowned schools and elegant terraces, it offers a privileged living environment, popular with families and architecture lovers alike.
