A country house in Paris

Ten months of renovation transformed this townhouse from top to bottom, with traditionally restored façades, a newly created central staircase and a garden entirely redesigned in accordance with Paris's bioclimatic planning regulations. Inside, the architecture is complemented by a carefully curated mix of vintage finds, bespoke pieces and contemporary creations. The project's defining thread is green, unfolding across all four levels in a palette that is both soft and bold.

The iconic detail

The project's most poetic gesture is revealed by looking up. The ceiling above the second-floor landing has been transformed into a hand-painted mural, visible from the ground floor and gradually unfolding into a lush botanical landscape as you ascend the house. Conceived as an extension of the garden and the Jardin d'hiver panoramic wallpaper beneath the glass roof, it amplifies the natural light while giving the impression that the house has always been this way.

Passy: understated elegance

Framed by the Seine on one side and the Bois de Boulogne on the other, Passy has all the charm of a village within the city. Its semi-rural heritage, traditional market and peaceful atmosphere offer a rare balance between urban living and tranquillity. Adding to its timeless appeal is the nearby Maison de Balzac, whose garden provides a glimpse of Paris as it once was.
