Victor opens the doors to his apartment in the Ternes district — recently renovated and finally ready to welcome the rhythms of family life, discreetly sheltered from view. This unique home, set on the highly coveted second floor, reinvents the hallmarks of the Haussmann style through a warm and delicate atmosphere, much like Victor himself. Welcome to his home.
Drawn to bold interiors and attentive to detail, Victor nevertheless couldn’t fully devote himself to his Paris project. He therefore turned to Maison Kyka to coordinate extensive renovation works in his family apartment, inherited from his grandparents.
The guiding philosophy behind this renovation was simple: meet the demands of life shared by several people in an optimised setting with a strong aesthetic identity. Noble materials and layered textures unfold from room to room, following a chromatic palette that combines neutral tones — beige, greige, velvety black — with deeper accents of burgundy and green. Formerly tucked away in the service areas, the kitchen now moves into the heart of the apartment, reimagined as a contemporary, family-friendly space.
Like an echo of nearby Parc Monceau, nature finds its way along the façade in the manner of a suspended garden. The long wrought-iron balcony, now lushly planted, becomes a true escape at the heart of the city.
Nestled between the Arc de Triomphe and Parc Monceau, the Ternes district combines architectural refinement with a lively, village-like spirit. Its wide avenues lined with Haussmann buildings are home to a wealth of elegant boutiques, gastronomic addresses and the renowned Poncelet market, a key hub of local life. This part of the 17ᵗʰ arrondissement charms with its chic yet welcoming atmosphere, where the energy of the capital goes hand in hand with a comfortable, convivial art of living.
