The meeting with Maison Kyka

Two visits, one crush. From the first exchanges, everything was smooth. During the second visit, the apartment ticked all the boxes: impossible to miss. Charlotte quickly positioned herself, guided at each stage by Gauthier, her real estate project manager. Less than a month of research, and already the keys to a new chapter in hand.

A custom-designed apartment

For her first home, Charlotte wanted a functional and friendly space, a place where she could cook with pleasure, entertain her friends and store all her belongings without compromising on aesthetics. But the apartment posed two major challenges: a load-bearing wall dividing the space in two and poorly positioned water drains.

The plan was therefore studied in depth to overcome these constraints and create a pleasant living space for its owner. Creative solutions made it possible to rethink the layout: a new pipeline route was created and the Studio designed two very distinct spaces around the load-bearing wall. On one side, a living room with kitchen and dining area, on the other the bedroom with its shower room.

An apartment bathed in sunlight, with southern accents

For this project, every detail evokes the warmth and softness of the Mediterranean. A sunny yellow credenza, ochre kitchen facades, lime textured walls and Sienna carpentry make up a vibrant and warm palette.

In the bedroom, the southern hues are enhanced by panoramic wallpaper, suggesting the undulating reliefs of Tuscany. A bright and enveloping interior, just like Charlotte's sunny personality.

The iconic detail

As soon as you cross the threshold, the kitchen catches the eye and sets the tone. To meet the desire for a sunny and warm interior, we made the bold bet on a sunny yellow credenza, bright and bright. Opposite it, a custom-made petrol blue bench, which brings depth and contrast, while inviting conviviality.

Between République and Oberkampf, Folie Méricourt embodies the vibrant spirit of the 11th arrondissement. Trendy addresses, lively markets, art galleries and creative workshops punctuate this neighborhood where the ancient and the contemporary blend harmoniously. With its streets full of life and its friendly atmosphere, it is a real urban village, popular with curious minds and lovers of authentic places.
